Apply for early enrolment
All children who are six years old on the school enrolment date at the latest are required to attend school.
From the 2022/2023 school year, the school enrolment cut-off date is 30 June.
You can register children who turn six after the school enrolment cut-off date and up to 30 June of the following calendar year for school. This will make the child school-age.
All children who do not turn six until after 30 June of the following calendar year can be admitted to school early.
If the school management has doubts about the child's readiness for school, it will obtain an expert opinion from the health authority. If it approves the application, compulsory school attendance begins with admission to the school.
